On August 9th, our organization had the privilege of hosting motivational speaker Courtney Orange, who led an engaging session for 90 local high school students. Courtney’s presentation focused on crucial topics like navigating peer pressure, addressing bullying, and developing emotional intelligence – all vital skills for empowering today’s youth.
Beyond the impactful speaking engagement, Courtney also leveraged his extensive network of associates and friends to organize a generous donation of much-needed school supplies to the Dzikwa Trust. This donation included reams of bond paper as well as Shona language textbooks, which will provide crucial educational resources for the students served by this charitable organization.
We’re thrilled that Courtney’s visit allowed us to deliver both motivational guidance and tangible support to the young people in our community. Initiatives like this underscore our commitment to fostering the personal growth and academic success of local youth. We’re grateful to Courtney for sharing his expertise and connections to make a meaningful difference.
